Repair Affair is an annual event that assists elderly homeowners with necessary exterior repairs including, but not limited to roof repairs, siding, painting, and window glazing at not cost to the senior citizens. The senior must be at least the age of 60 to qualify for this program. Please call Kathy Hughes for any questions or to get an application.

 

 

Remodeling for Access & Mobility Project (RAMP’s) provides low-income families with the necessary wheelchair ramps or other necessary exterior modifications for easier mobility. Please call Kathy Hughes for more details or to get an application.

 

 

 

Virginia Place Home Ownership Assistance

assists Virginia Place graduates with homeownership grants and Realtor assistance in

locating and  purchasing affordable homes.

 

 

 

 

Homeownership & Credit Counseling offers:

 

·         First-time homeowner counseling offers the A, B, C’s of purchasing a home. This service is free unless grouped with a credit analysis.

·         Post purchase counseling is offered to any individual that may be finding out that they are a little overwhelmed after the home buying process. This workshop is designed not only for basic budgeting but also, loss mitigation options and foreclosure prevention. This service is free.

·         Credit counseling offers budgeting, basic home maintenance, saving, tracking, and assistance clearing up those past or present blemishes on your credit file. This service has a nominal fee based on your yearly gross income.
